LA test: Compromise

I realise that many people in our class got the idea of this word wrong, well, I am too. I hope my story is not out of point.
Compromise:
-settlement of differences by mutual concessions;
-an agreement done by both parties with adjustments of claims or loss.

Hence, a compromise needs to be an agreement between two people who not only agree to the compromise, but also lose something in the agreement in order to gain thing he wants and in order to happy the both parties. Thus, both parties have to LOSS something in the agreement, it is a MUTUAL CONCESSIONS. Many of us got this wrong. :)
